Mid-Summer Performance Check

By mid-July, your A/C has already been working hard—and with more heat ahead, it’s smart to make sure your system is still running at its best.

At NeighborLe Heating & Cooling, our mid-season performance visits are designed to catch small issues before they become big problems. Here are a few things we do when we come out for a checkup:

We check your system’s airflow

Good airflow = better comfort. If air isn't circulating the way it should, your home won't cool evenly and your system works harder than it needs to. We look for clogged filters, dirty coils, or blocked vents.

We inspect key electrical components

Summer heat puts strain on your system. We test the parts that power your A/C—like the motor starter and cooling fans—to make sure nothing’s wearing out or on the verge of failure.

We confirm your refrigerant levels

Low refrigerant can mean your system is cooling poorly or freezing up. We use specialized tools to make sure the levels are just right for efficient performance.

We assess overall efficiency

We look for signs your system is working harder than it needs to—like unusually long run times or short cycling. If we spot anything off, we’ll explain what’s going on and give you honest recommendations.
